While driving to work today I noticed a noise coming from the passenger front area. It sounds like kinda like the tire was coming apart but much quieter, by that I mean if the radio is on you can't hear it. The noise starts around 55mph and seems to get faster with speed but it is not a constant type of noise. Road surfaces don't seem to change it, nor does engine speed, while under power or in neutral the noise doesn't change. After a quick visual inspection I can't find anything.

Any ideas?

Turning doesn't change a thing. I may have solved the issue, but time will tell. The inner fender had a tab on the wrong side of the fender and had a tab missing. I corrected it and so far haven't heard it again. I have no idea how it got moved though.

I was thinking it could be the fender liner by how you were describing it. With speed the wind brings it close enough to touch. Good luck man.

That's what it was apparently, now just have to figure out how it moved.
