Thumbs up Power Enterprise boost controller installed

I got my baby back today after getting my Power Enterprise boost gauge/controller installed at Ultimate Performance in Dulles. Thanks to Brian, Mike and Mike for all the great service!! I highly recommend these guys for installs, fabrication, etc. They will have an AWD Dynojet soon...

As for my new toy, it's a 60mm boost gauge with an electronic boost controller built in. Takes up less space and is pretty stealthy. It is very easy to operate and looks awesome! I am boosting 1.4 bar now (about 21 psi) and it feels very strong. Plus it holds boost to redline - no more drop to 16 psi. I ran it for a little while at 0.8 bar - it's weird to feel the Evo go slowly...

Thanks to Dan at Mach V for the good price and for stocking such a sexy piece of JDM gear. For those of you who aren't familiar with Power Enterprise, they are HUGE in Japan and many, many Skylines use this controller. I am going to use the PE timing belt when I need to replace the stock one.

Thanks again to Brian, Mike and Mike! I am one happy camper.

Chris

I spend all my money on mods... no money for digital camera... LOL

I will pop for a camera when I am finished with my car (hopefully around May 1st). I will inundate this site with more pics than it can handle...

Sweet!

If I wasn't already replacing my POS Profec B with an MBC, I'd get one of those. They're awesome pieces.

Has anyone installed one of these themselves. How difficult is it? I have installed a boost gauge in my Mustang and it was easy, but with the extra feature I dont know what else is involved?

From what the guys at the shop told me, the hardest part was to understand the "Engrish" instructions.
