Turbo Oil Feed Line Kit for fp green

Hey guys, I have an used evo 9 turbo getting rebuilt by fp into a hta 73 green. I'm still waiting for it but just wanted to make sure I have everything ready for the install to go smooth. I have most of the evo 9 oil/coolant lines except for the one oil line going from the turbo to the head. I ordered this one on ebay and wanted to see if you guys thought it would be ok. I know fp sells a relocation oil supply line but its only required for the fp red and fp black. Any input would be great, thanks.

the main difference I see is that the FP line has a filter, which I guess is instrumental to keeping the turbo operating efficiently

They may not require it for the green but i would definitely run their line which comes from the oil filter housing.

Does anyone who has an hta 73 green fed the oil from the head? Its hard for me to justify spending another $150-250 for this oil line kit when its not required. I guess I'll call fp and get some info.

Yeah I just drive my car once or twice a week. I just do some spirited driving no autocross I might take it to a drag strip one of these days though.

Thank you for this link! I may go with this kit and save the $100 from fp. My only concern is the kits are a little different. The straight line on this kit is only 18" compared to fps straight line which is 24" long. Did you use this kit on your car?

just get the filter from fp and head to your local hose store and have them build you the -4 lines for half the price that fp sells them for. you will come out a lil cheaper than 250!

i think FP has changed to there oil feed kits which come with there BB turbos to be feed from the head.

iv just purchased a New FP DBB from them which is still yet to arrive, iv emailed them asking wether i should take the oil feed from the head or the filter. and they have emailed me back saying they prefer the head.

I called FP about this very question last week. They said the bb turbos need less oil and they prefer running from the head with their restricter (filter is a restricter). The journal bearing turbos need more pressure and they prefer to run those off the oil filter.
