I have a RR 05 Evo 8. I'm not selling it im just wondering how much it would be worth. 115k miles, rebuilt title due to accident, fresh engine rebuild and basically whole vehicle was restored (no signs of accident or damage). Body 10/10, interior 8/10. Has 18" rims, lip kit, and a few tasteful mods. I'm thinking in the 13k range? What do you guys think?

 

You didn't give enough info about mods...18" rims doesn't tell me anything. I would say 13 is prolly fair.

 

Looks nearly identical to that evo (without the jdm rear or evo 9 front.) Has the Do Luck front lip, 18" Rota Gforce rims (brand new condition). fully rebuilt engine with new gaskets, belts, bearings, polished block/crank, etc. 1000cc precision injectors with welbro 255. HKS downpipe with injen exhaust, AEM short ram intake, dont remember the bov brand (its not stock). Freshly coated gold/copper color brembos, vortex generator, tein springs but switching to swift soon, recent tune done. What else?

 

I'll be honest. Don't sell it for cheap. Evos prices are rising and with the fact that there really wasn't many made from 03-06(compared to sti) they're hard to find. Sell for 15+. I myself have an 05 with 105k that I've REALLY put money into to make it better than when I bought it(pretty rough) and I wouldn't sell for a low price. Then again I want this car to be a keeper.

 

But the fact remains that it's rebuilt title. I'm the type of person that enjoys driving the car, not the title. If i see that it has been taken care of then i don't look at the title, unless i have plans of selling it in the near future. The people before me have not really taken care of this car, but I have babied it and put so much time/money into it that it can pass for show quality or out of the factory. Like i said I'm not looking to sell it yet, just interested in knowing the value. It would take a hell of an offer to part with her, having a fresh engine and all.

 

If the car is clean it will always sell. If the time comes and you have tire kickers, just tell them to bounce. My car wasn't well taken care of either but it's really getting there. I've thought about trading it for a lower mile IX but for me it's far more satisfying watching it transform and looking at older photos. Good luck with it man.
