Does Tomei M7960 Turbo fit Muse O2 Dump Pipe?

Hi guys,

I got a really good deal on the Tomei M7960 turbo but just wondering if it will fit the Muse O2 Dump (I already got the Muse O2 dump) ?

The only problem I can see is that the Tomei M7960 exhaust housing is not divorced while the Muse O2 Dump is divorced --> I just worry if the wastegate gas and the exhaust gas will mix together and causing some boost problems.

Please someone give me an advice on this purchase ?

Thank you

The exhaust housing should be divorced. Is it possible you bought the wrong turbo?! A quick look on RSD's website shows that the turbine exhaust and the wastegate exhaust are seperated.

Thank you for your reply.

It is not a divorced type at all

Please have a look at this listing, in the end of the page, it lists a small photo of exhaust housing.

Thank you

Tomei ARMS M7960 Turbocharger - What's in the Box? - YouTube

Check the video at 4:26

I worry the O2 dump will have exhaust leak and be loud all the time.

Thank you
You do realize the Turbo in this video is for a Subaru right......

Hi,

Sorry I have looked at the wrong video before.

Here is the eBay listing for Tomei M7960 and it does not seem to have a divorced type exhaust housing (bottom photos) :

Thank you very much for your help

I don't think you have anything to worry about. That bottom picture was just saying what features the ARMS turbo has in general, not Evo specific. The turbo in the main listing picture is for a Evo. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

On to your initial question this is considered a stock replacement turbo, so other stock replacement parts should work.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Just one last thing, if the turbine housing and exhaust housing is combined together, does it really affect anything if I use the Muse O2 dump pipe ? Will the dump pipe be loud (leaking) all the time ?

Thank you
