evo 8 fitment help for rpf1 17x9.5 +18 already did research
Hello everyone, so I am looking to order some enkei rpf1's very soon and I am undecided on what off set to go with. It is between +18 or +38, I know with the 38 offset I will need a spacer up front but I do not really want to go that route. So my question is if I get 17x9.5 will the +18 offset require to much modification in the rear or will that offset stick the wheel so far out in the rear that it will look weird or not right. The car is on lowering springs as of right now and I am looking to get coilovers in the near future as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I did already do research and I couldn't really find what I was looking for.
Thanks again

I am looking to do 255s eventually but I'm more worried about the rear fitment right now and if the wheel with the low offset will stick too far out and look stupid

I know you don't want to run a spacer in the front and I had the same mindset a few years back but if you want to run the RPF1's you should really go with the +38 and use a 20mm spacer in the front with extended studs. It will be way less work than trying to get the rears to fit. You could run a staggered setup but then you will not be able to rotate tires so I personally wouldn't recommend that route. Just my .02

I don't have a problem rolling the rear fenders to make them fit I am wanting to go with an aggressive fitment and I know it will require some rolling in the rear but will I need to do any pulling
Thanks for the help so far

Rolling will most certainly be needed in the rear as well as maybe a small pull. This will depend on what size tire you are planning on running, your alignment as well as ride height. I still think getting the +18 is the wrong move but it's not my call. It is clear that our priorities do not align but no worries. I'm happy to help where I can so any additional info you can provide will help us determine what needs to be done.
