Swapping CAM sensors

Long story short. I swapped the cam sensors on my evo 9 and got my car to start. I'm getting codes P0340 and p0335. I want to order a new sensor but I don't know which is the bad one. Theres a $30 difference between the intake and exhaust.

Which is the usual sensor that goes bad? Any info/help is appreciated.

9 out of 10 times the exhaust sensore goes bad first as it is next to a turbo manifold. I've had it go bad on me 3 times in my own car. You should consider buying or making a heat shield

My money would be on the exhaust side as well. I didnt look up what those specific codes refer to but is there any chance you installed the CAS backwards? I know it needs to be clocked a specific way so if its not oriented properly it'll likely throw a code or more likely won't even start.
