Transmission Clean

Can anyone recommend a method, product to clean transmission for evolution 8, 5 speed? Does trans tune from seafoam work for manual transmissions?

oh god no. I hope you mean the housing, In which case I'd just do some purple power and a hose. Maybe a brillo pad depending on how dirty it is.

I cleaned mine two weeks ago with Purple Power and a power washer. I did it three times and it cleaned it right up.

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to see if there was actually a process of cleaning the engine myself with a solution, but I guess there isn't. Thanks

Purple Power or LA's Awesome (from Dollar's General). Spray. Wait 5 min. Rinse off with garden hose.
Who gave you the idea to seafoam the transmission?
