Evo 8/9 ETS 3" Exhaust Catback

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have the 3" catback exhaust installed on their Evo 8/9 from ETS? I have the stainless steel version for the JDM bumper. The only issue is it does not fit at all. I confirmed that I did get the correct one, but all the hangers are off by a couple inches. Also the exhaust sits extremely low and hits the bumper when aligned properly.

Anyone have pictures of it installed? Their website says it is an "easy bot on" but it obviously is not. Any advice would help. If I can't get it resolved I am going to return.

So I guess not many people have experience with ETS's 3" CBE for Evo 8/9. I am returning the exhaust since it the fitment is terrible. Neither of the OEM hangers align with exhaust and the muffler hits the JDM bumper.

I will let you know if this is due to an error in construction of exhaust since ETS will check it. Otherwise it is just a faulty product. I have had 2 exhausts both perrin and Tomei and both CBE fit perfectly not issues installing.

Sounds exactly like you were delivered an exhaust of USDM rear. Im gunna guess it was incorrectly packaged.

What brand is the rest if the exhaust? A cheap cat/test pipe and downpipe can throw off the fitment big time if they are welded even slightly off.

I did confirm with them with pictures. Should be JDM version since apparently the way they tell is by wher muffler hanger is welded. Mine is on the tip which signifies JDM version.

I have a DC sports downpipe with cat delete all in one. It fits the OEM hangers perfectly no issues. Also had a perrin stealth CBE and Tomei Extreme Titanium CBE (currently) installed with the downpipe. No issues with fitment and installation of those two exhausts. I am replacing the Tomei since it is extremely loud, got that one to fit my new JDM bumper. Had the perrin on previously when using USDM bumper.
