Stupid ac question

So I removed my entire air conditioning system from my evo. Just wanted to know if I can also remove the aluminum bracket that holds the compressor?

looks like you can. i took mine off and am going to shortbelt it.

Yeah I kinda figured I could take it off but whenever I looked up pictures of the ac removed on an evo I would always see the aluminum bracket. Either way it's off now ha thanks a lot
