Considering for $44k you're getting AWD, turbo engine capable of nice power, pretty good looks IMO, HIDs, leather, Nav, nice stereo, pretty good handling and braking plus a solid aftermarket parts network I don't see it being that much overpriced. Gas mileage still sucks but always has on these cars. I'd look hard at one if I was in the market for a 2015 vehicle and could afford something up to $50k.
well, looks like you did way more research than the O.P.

yea i would assume that we should hopefully be getting the ones wit the recaros in em over here in the philippines only problem is...which is a major problem..is that its gonna command a major price tag since their gonna be on a per order basis im thinking they might just price em out of range around the 3 to 4 million peso mark so thats around 60 to 80k us dollars only the richest of collectors will buy one over here. sound crazy doesnt it.. third world crazy...import taxes r ridiculous

New is always nice but $44k for an Evo? No thanks, I would look at a different class of car or a used Evo for the same look. Pick up a 12' or 13'.

A new Evo is NOT $44k, unless you need the top-of-the-line model with every option available. The GSR starts at $35k and the MR starts at $39k... well south of $44k.

The EVO X is way overpriced for the performance. I won't even bring up the "luxury" of the car. For that money I'd be looking at a 435i or something. If you want an EVO, a low mileage 13 would be the one I'd go with. I'm not a fan of the EVO X anyway though. I had one and got ride of it for a 335i, and eventually ended up back in a IX MR.

Not a huge fan of it. I don't see much they changed. I know mitsubishi keeps talking about no more evos but I don't see it happening. The evo is there top of the line car that people can actually afford. I think they will come to there senses
