Evo 8 accidentally towed on dolly? Help please

I had an Evo 8 towed on a flatbed/semi around 150 miles from me. I did tell the driver that the car is AWD. Then around 10 miles away from my house he put my car on a tow truck/dolly and drove it to my house at speeds up to 60mph. Car was in neutral, handbrake was off. But driveshaft was never disconnected cause I thought the driver would take the car on the flatbed the whole way. Haven't tried driving the car yet. Should I be worried?!?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'd be very worried if I were you.

10 miles @ 60MPH is going to be tough on the car. Only way to know for sure is to try to drive it.

So he stopped, unloaded the car, then loaded it on a dolly?

He picked up the car in the evening, stopped by his house for the night, then the car was delivered to my house in the morning on a dolly.

Better get a lawyer and Sue the company for damages.

Hope it's not too bad. Good luck

I thought the dolly thing lifted the wheels off the ground? If one side is suspended by the truck, and the other is on those dolly things, then nothing is rotating, right?

This is what I'm talking about: http://s2.photobucket.com/user/LSchi...a/013.jpg.html

That is what a tow dolly is. However, I don't think that's what the OP means..

You mean he towed it? Cause there is nothing wrong with putting an AWD/4WD on a dolly. Thats what they are there for lol.

The guy towed it, so the 2 rear wheels remained on the ground at all times for 10 miles.

The tow company/driver should know what kind of vehicle he is working with. you need to contact his boss/manager/supervisor.
