Big and tall

I need feedback from big and tall drivers of the Evo8/9. How well do you fit? Did fitment require any modifications? Can someone fit in the seat behind you? And give your height and weight(pics optional)

I guess I'm not super tall or "big" (6'1", 180 range) but I will say I fit way better in my Evo than I do my Jetta. Getting in and out of the Jetta I have to really bend my neck. The Recaros sit lower in the Evo and the roofline is a little taller so I feel way more comfortable with the seating in the Evo. I also sit with the seat a little more forward in cars I've owned with a clutch than I do with autos.

Thanks for the reply. I drove a Jetta also which gives me a good idea on how I would fit

The Jetta is just a lease and I use it for to/from work. I wouldn't want it for long term just because it's a tad too small, or so it feels. Exception would be if I got some sort of bucket seats put in so I sat lower in the car.

6'4" 233lbs I fit pretty well, someone small would fit behind me, but that's it. Gotten used to the car and I actually feel pretty comfortable in it, but I also fly small airplanes that are not comfortable, and you can't just get out and stretch your legs... so the EVO isn't bad all all.

I'm 6'4" 245ish...there is room is but, mine is a weekend car and nobody but my 2 year old son sits in the backseat. The Backseat for the evo VIII-IX is way larger than the Bugeye WRX.

Now we're getting close to my size. I stand at a true 6-5 300 pounds. Lol

anyone over 6' 2" i recommend getting the seat lowering brackets. Also the evo 8/9 is actually very roomy. i fit much better in it with twin 2 year olds in the back seat than my e39.

hahah...yeah I test drove an 04 STi one time and walked away from it. Couldn't even fit a baby seat in the back. :-) Evo is definitely more roomy!

Evo is bigger than a Caddy inside. I can have driver seat comfortable and still fit in back seat. I'm a large man
