o2 Dump on DD evo

Doing my next round of mods. fuel pump injectors and fuel rail, was wondering if there is any issue having an o2 dump on a Daily driven evo. Thanks for any input!

There are no issues. It's no louder than a recirculated 02 housing when cruising around town. It's only significantly louder under WOT.

What?! the dump pipe only dumps exhaust when under boost because at that point the WGA flap will be open. When you're in traffic you're not developing boost.

Muse is an awesome piece. It looks great, is made amazing, and sounds badass. I have one on my Evo IX, you can't beat it for $240 shipped.

I have a dump on my daily and it doesn't bother me a bit. No leaking into the cabin at idle or anything like that. The only time you notice it is when you go WOT, other than that, you can't even tell it's there.

Sorry. You guys are right the gas was coming from the gasket leak from the divider. I had the muse o2 dump.

Muse is a "good" piece
It is made with "decent" quality
For the money its worth buying.

Its not awesome in anyway besides the price... I'm not bashing this quote, I just want to be clear that you don't get some crazy high expectations. Freaky super amazing quality is something like Toxic Fab... but you gunna pay for that

I have a muse 02, its not junk.

I have a MAP O2 Dump on my DD, and you don't hear it until you WOT on the stock turbo maybe around 4000-5000 at about 15PSI it'll start to open up.

No issues.. on daily driving you won't even know it's there.

I had one of the original QTP O2 dump which was a nice piece as well. Sounded nice but a bit loud after a while for my liking but you can only hear it during WOT.

No issues with leak as QTP (QuickTime Performance) provided a matching gasket with the divide in the middle. Using your stock O2 gasket will provide an air pocket/turbulence between the wastgate and exhaust output essentially defeating the entire purpose of separate output channels.

Are there any real disadvantages to using a recirculated housing over dump? Was looking at getting the map o2 eliminator pipe with the recirculated option
