Where Can i Get Those Window Vents..???

Where Can i Get Those Window Vents..???

I saw it on some rally cars the circle vents that goes into the rear window... And some street cars...aswell where can i get it.??

If you do a quick google "evo rear window vent" you should find a couple sites selling them, i.e lancershop, rexpeed, etc.

Rexpeed offers them in carbon fiber, or in a solid black material. They work well when your car is sitting in the hot sun. They let the interior 'breathe'...I got mine from Rexpeed.

^ I don't see how because they mount flush...The window rain guards add drag.

There is a DIY write up on how to build these also. Was really cheap/easy if I remember right.

they look pretty cool, im guessing roll windows down and then roll them back up to lock them in place?

Yes! There's a a channel at the bottom surface that the edge of the window goes into/makes contact with, along with the top edge that fits into the inner edge of the window channel...A very solid fit. No problem at high speeds.

So besides venting do they do anything? I finally after a few years of searching got my first evo 9 and trying to start learning as much as I can

Their purpose is to let air that has been trapped at speed out. If you need them for that get them otherwise

I do like the look. Rxspeed has them. Last time I checked Lancershop.com has some.
