On the hunt for an EVO VIII
Current location Jacksonville FL, finally getting my garage in 2 months and on the hunt for an Evo VIII. Anyone have any advice on best sites other than Autotrader or cars.com? I've been out of the car scene for quite some time, looking forward to my next project. I'm knowledgeable with engines and turbos and can rebuild my own motors so it doesn't make sense for me to spend a ton on a low mileage car.

I'm not selling mine, per se, but it's up for grabs for $22k, price negotiable but that's the starting point. You're not so far away that I couldn't drive it to you if you decided to buy. Mechanically just needs new brake rotors and pads. Built engine has under 10k miles on it. If you're seriously interested hit me up in a PM and we can text and I can send you more details and pictures and whatnot (not dick pics haha)

Sure wouldn't hurt to have some filters in the for sale section, or at least some visibility. OMG it would take me a month to get through that mess.

Keep in mind that the typical evom seller is more likely to be an enthusiast than the average frustrated member of the public, and the typical evom buyer may be more clueful than that kid who thinks he wants an Evo.
A lot of Evos today are or were owned by punk kids who beat on them and didn't maintain them. Lord knows we get enough kids here. I hate to imagine how Evos are treated by the general public, but when I get on auto trader or whatever, I start to get an idea.
