I tried texting the guy and his story didn't add up and when I called him out on it, he stopped replying, so I don't know what his deal is.

When production stopped on the evolution 8 and 9 Mitsubishi sold complete engine assembly like described for about 4500 to purge excess inventory. It was a great deal. If you got it for 1500 you stole it!

$1500 for a complete motor is an absolute steal.. Even if you tore it apart to find the internals are junk or the head is damaged, you still made out okay seeing as how a new bare block from Mitsubishi is around $1700.. Hell, I'm actually looking for a block myself. Put a window in my motor last September and I'm about to start a build, just need a core first. Hopefully everything checks out alright with the one you bought! If not, let me know whats wrong with it and maybe ill take it off your hands! Goodluck!

So turns out it's not a brand new engine like seller claimed. Did some digging around and end up tracing the motor back to a wrecked 04 Lancer evo 8 that was sold in an auction with 110k back in 2010, from Austin Texas.

Either way, I still very much happy with my purchase.

My old setup was stockish, it was around 370whp.
What I listed is the new setup. I'm waiting for a few parts to come in before I can install the new motor. I'm hoping to make close to 400 - 500whp on stock turbo. Probably upgrade the turbo by the end of the year when I have more money. I want to be in the 600 - 700whp range.
All I know is I'm happy to be able to get her up and running again!!!!
