**HELP** weird whining noise? Evo 8

Hello I'm in need of some advice!
So I just recently noticed that after putting my evo 8 in reverse and than putting it in first I've gotten a weird noise until I start moving.. It's not really high pitched it kind of sounds like a pump starting? So like a hissing/whining/honing/ until I start rolling and than the noise goes away. It's random and I can't seem to find any posts like this! My evo just got a new stage 3 clutch and a brand spankin new charcoal canister. I noticed the noise after my car came back from the shop with the new canister. Someone please help before I rip my hair out!

Any issue with the Evap canister the car will throw a code. Did you get any code related the fuel Evap system?
About the clutch, did you get a new throw-out bearing when it was replaced?

i would check to make sure all the vac lines to and from the EVAP canister are secured. If the car hasn't thrown a code already I would start there. Also any reason you haven't removed the system all together?
