Has anyone tried using the stock lancer rear crash beam with the evo JDM bumpers?

So ive been going through parts diagrams to see if there is some sort of JDM crash beam and apparently there isn't, but in going through the diagrams i see that the regular lancer crash beam is used with the same rear bumper support bar that the JDM bumper uses.

See here:
JDM rear:
http://www.partsbase.org/mitsubishi/...bishi-mr520343
part labeled 64001, mitsubishi part number MR520343

regular lancer in japan:
http://www.partsbase.org/mitsubishi/...bishi-mn175829
showing the crash beam(64053 in diagram, part number MN175829), and the bumper support(64001, MR520343)

regular lancer in USA:
http://www.partsbase.org/mitsubishi/...bishi-mn175829

so im curious if MN175829 will mount on our rears instead of the OEM MN175827 and work behind the JDM rear crash beam. considering it is used on USDM cars it should pass any crash tests that the US required. We can still rip out the supports from our stock bumpers and use that I would assume, and modify the plate brackets because trying to find OEM parts for that seems like a real job

what it looks like http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Bumper-Face-Bar-Reinforcement-Cross-Member-Rear-Lancer-MI1106147-MN175829-/370922802617?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item565cb8cdb9&vxp=mtr

You should check japanparts.com

Fairly sure I saw a rear crash beam on there and the price was reasonable.

Great find! I am going to look for that model in the junkyard. I have the JDM rear so I can test it out to see if it will fit.
