Doing valvesprings... dropped a valve...
Im pretty sure I know the answer to this question but is there any way to fish a valve out w/o pulling the head? And if not can I just pull the exhaust manifold and leave the intake manifold on the head? I know Im an idiot. I didn't let my compressor fill back up apparently and when I popped the retainer off it was game over... Any help is appreciated...

Just put that cyl in tdc and do the valves accordingly. They can only drop a little bit.
I would try to take off the intake or exhaust manifold and try to work with it from there before you pull the head if you can. good luck!

I would just bite the bullet and buy a headgasket and yank the head. it sucks, but that's the easiest way to do it. unless you can get the valve at an angle and started into the guide, and get a small wedge to push from the bottom, enough to get some stem sticking out so you can grab it. you will need about 3-4 hands though.
