Hey all so recently my factory hids stopped working I'd have to click them on and off 6 or 7 times to get them to light up once they where on all was good. They now no longer turn on no matter how many times I turn them on and off. When I turn them on the left side blinks 3-4 times then the right one blinks 3-4 times then they just turn off . I have replaced both the ballasts and the bulbs on either side and still have no such luck. Any input would be extremely handy as I would love to drive the car again.

theres a couple of fuses and a relay for the headlights. it's possible a voltage spike could have popped a fuse, and the relay may have been on it's way out. swap the relay with a known good one, and check your fuses. I had an aftermarket kit that started to burn out, and just took it out and went back to regular bulbs. good luck.

 

So today I took apart the dash and tested the headlight switch stalk and that's all working fine. I also borrowed another headlight from a friend's evo and same problem. Checked all fuses and replaced them . Could it be the front ecu/ atcas thing I've been reading about causing issues

sounds light to me a bad ground or a hid ballast going bad. mine old hids did the same thing
