Is it possible to pull the head and leave the intake manifold on? I have to pull the head and would rather not take it off. Is this possible or will it just make it harder on me? Thanks.

 

Yes..... just don't forget to unbolt the dipstick from it.

so I see this is possible, can someone tell me what im missing? I have all the head nuts off but the driver side doesn't seem to wanna move. Is there a bracket I missed? There is nothing I can see. The 2 under the IM are not the problem...

 

Check that coolant line back there. That could be your hold up

 

There is a fastener under the thermostat housing that holds a turbo coolant line to the head.
