Stm intake

I'm in the process of installing stms intake. Couple newbie questions. Looks like the there's a pcv line and then there's a boost control line. I'm concerned about the boost control vac lines.

You shouldn't be hooking up any vacuum lines to your intake.

The waste gate solenoid connects to the intake.

It's a lightly used stm intake. Stm gives you a breather hose for the pcv. But nothing goes to the sensor on the frame

I meant is it the SD intake or the standard one that you stick your maf on. Most of us don't use the stock boost control solenoid so that line is deleted with the use of an aftermarket in most cases.

If its the SD intake and you still have the ic sprayer tank your going to want to cut 2 inches off the pipe they send otherwise you will choke your car's air intake out when you push the filter down the pipe. (happened to me with the vibrant filter)

I'm sure you will have to add a nipple to the pipe if you are using all the stock sensors. Shouldn't be that hard.

I do not have the a intercooler sprayer. Well if you don't use the line for the boost solenoid then all I should need is a hose for the bov to recirculate the bov. And put a filter on the pcv til I get a catch can system.

You need that line for the stock bcs. And putting a filter on the vc is not the right way to do it.

I'm aware of that. But that's how stm sells their intake. Also I plan on doing a catch can setup. I'm just curious for the stock bcs line that goes onto stock intake. Doesn't make sense why it's not on the stm intake.
