weird droaning noise came back again
well, I changed my pads a few months ago and right after it I went out for a run, as I cruised along this weird low droning noise started, as I dabbed the brakes it would go away for a sa minute then come back....I thought it was coming from the back, so I pulled the rear wheels off and checked the rear pads, cleaned with brake cleaner, re greased with copper ease behind the pads and put everything back and it was all good, no noise. So yesterday I went for a run for a couple of hours, as I came back home almost a mile from home, there it is again...low frequency droan starts, I dabbed the brakes, it went away,,,,,a few minutes later back it came, I now couldnt tell if it was in front or back, sort of resonated in the cab, ok so yeh it could be transmision but dabbing the brakes makes it go away...so how could it be transmission or tranfer case?
I am a bit stumped and don't know how to isolate it
ps...I have had warped discs before too, and they usually pump the peddle as you brake, this doesnt happen, there is no weird brake feedback what so ever
