4th alternator goes bad in 2 years
Title says it all. I bought the car back in summer of 13. About thanksgiving time the alternator died, would not charge the battery at all. Changed it and a week later the new one died. Had it changed again and its lasted till today where now the battery and break light flicker on and off.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any ideas on what i should look into?
The car had a a/c delete belt on it off of an m3? maybe? dont quote the m3 but its for another car but the forms said it works and it did fit. other than this it is stock.
Is there a brand thats longevity is worth its price?

Remans are often reconditioned to the point where they work. So, you are buying someone's worn out alternator made to work again.
If you can find a shop that rebuilds alternators, in this throw away society, that is a better choice. A good shop will replace to new condition. Otherwise, buy new.
