Clutch Kit and light flywheel suggestions for 2008 Evo GSR
My clutch started slipping and needed a replacement. i bought my 2008 Evo a year ago and now has 109k miles on it. Local auto parts store suggest to go for Stage 1 clutch kits for just street use for longer life, and they recommended a kit from ACT. I have checked the web and found other brands like Clutch Master etc. Can anyone suggest a good brand clutch kit and lightweight flywheel at a reasonable price for just street use. Thank you.

should have posted in the Evo X subforums. Anyways, I would suggest a Competiton Clutch Stage 2 with lightweight flywheel. For the price you can't beat it and its good for up to 500 ft. lb torque. I just got mine installed and it feels great. I'm still in the break in period but the clutch pedal feel is fine and it shifts smoothly. No jerkiness at all. I also DD my X
