How to tell DSM 4g63 from EVO 8 block

Hey guy's how can you tell the difference between a DSM 4g63 block and a Evo 8-9 4g63 block. Thanks

The front of the engine is on the opposite side.

will the Evo 8 head work on the 7 bolt DSM..as it does on the 4g64

Well I figured it out.... Oil pan ... DSM 6 and 7 bolt have straight oil pan rails. The Evo 8&9 bows in on the intake manifold side.
