I retired last spring and got a settlement for unused sick leave that let me buy it for cash. Pension is pretty low but I can make it since I own my house and car.

On my current project, my commute up to work on Monday is 180 miles and the same on the way back on Friday, Tuesday through Thursday put about 70 miles on it. The weekends I average about 500 miles.

Almost at 27K miles, it will be a year old on June 18.

One problem, fixed under warranty: power steering pump.

Judging by some of these posts and how much mileage are on their rides, i think it is safe to say that the evo is a reliable piece of machinery.

40 each way everyday, so about 80 plus my fun runs, so about 100.

Question for you daily drivers. How's the suspension driving around in city traffic? I've heard it's pretty tough? I don't own an evo (obviously) and would be commuting through community (suburbs) most of the way. Any thoughts? How's your back after each trip?

8 miles each way, have not even driven the car to work yet, only 160 miles on it. Got it last Thursday, was off work Friday! No problems yet :-). Can't get enough of this car!
