UAC AC Compressor

anyone use this part before? I've rebuilt my compressor (following the guide) and I'm done fiddling with it. just haven't decided if i should buy this or a used OEM one. I'm also replacing the condenser.

Personally I wouldn't trust eBay stuff for any kind of moving part like that. I would suck it up and pay the extra few bucks for OEM, but I have OCD.

I don't read much about failing A/C compressors. I do read of failing compressors clutches. I had to put one on my car last summer. So, what was the problem?

They are fine, I've installed quite a few of them without issue. Just count your pulley ribs before install... the compressor is the same as a base Lancer (Among others) just with one extra belt rib, and I have been shipped the wrong one in the right box more than once.
