Are Evo's more fun then motorbikes?

Motorcycles are a Love it and can't live without it or a fad for some people. I will never be without one. I'll probably race well into my 60's if possible. I've been riding since I was 5 and don't plan to stop. Evo's are fun cars. great bang for the buck, make tons of power and 4 doors for the kids. Just apples to oranges.

They canceled MotoGP at Indianapolis for 2016. I've ridden to it for the past 3 years from NYC.
I'm now considering riding to Austin for the COTA round in April. 1700 miles one way. I wouldn't do that in the Evo, or any car.

Indy is/was a super cool event! COTA is simply awesome. Local track, beautiful and so fun to ride. It's worth the trip! Coolest thing about bike racing is how accessible the riders are. It's unlike any other sporting event really. I have pics with every motogp rider and my son for the last 6 years. He's 7 now. Jorge Lorenzo literally took his team Yamaha cap off and gave it to my kid after vaulting the start 2 years ago. Sucks Znicky won't be in the paddock. Him and his family were always doing stuff for the kids!

2 years I have spent as a cripple due to other drivers not paying attention on the road. It is safe to say I will never take a bike on the streets again, I have owned three evos and love them, everyone can hear me coming 😉 Just wish I could go back, you know. Stick with cars unless you are hitting the track. Just my opinion

That's tough to hear. Riding on the street is definitely a risk. I've been pretty anxious when I first started but that's gone away. But riding is very therapeutic so it's hard to give up. I ride in the city like it's a mine field, and open it up a bit out in the country with no cars around.

The only reason I bought the Evo is because I got the itch for a sportbike again. Then I made myself watch crash videos and decided I didn't want to go through that again. I've had the Evo a few years and the bike itch is back. The Evo is insanely fun, but on a different level than sportbikes. I mean, when was the last time you power wheelied your Evo?

No.
I've spent the last 7+ years riding in England. I always take the long way home when I'm riding my motorcycle (ZX-14R). My view will probably change when I get back to the states. I like the thought of roundabouts to keep the traffic flowing and the back roads for twistiness. Long interstate rides on a motorcycle are boring. Cagers here will usually move over a little to let you pass. I don't see that happening back in the states.

Since filtering is legal in the UK and bikes/scooters more common, drivers are more on the lookout. It's the opposite here, plus we havecrab mentality, so cars not only don't look in their mirrors for bikes, they will actively prevent us from passing, even though it is these very people driving their cars by themselves that are creating grid lock.

Bikes are super fun, but as others have mentioned, I will only ride bikes at the track.
Two years ago I had a really close call doing a canyon run on my bike. Long story short: my chain broke doing a bit over 100 and it sawed my bike's frame and motor like a chain-saw. It was totaled.

Bikes are an event to ride... the evo is a practical daily and track car..you can just hop in... both are fun for different reasons.but bike riding is like an occasion or event every time gearing up making sure weather is good etc.
Edit: I have snow too so bike for winter isn't very practical at all

It's really unfair to compare a bike with a car. Yes bikes are a lot more fun! In the essence of traffic, you can easily skip all that in a bike. and as I read before the whole thing with riding together with random people you just catch up with on the road, is the coolest feeling ever. Riding motorcycles you're apart a big community that everyone respects. But Evos are a damn cool car! Mods are limitless!
