Looking to go auto in my evo 9! Love driving manuals and it's great but I'm huge in to drag racing and want to mess ppl up on the street can't mess up with an auto! So I know buschur had an auto but does anyone know if he's makes them or another company does. I don't really wanna go sequential I want a nice trans brake and just jet!

Buschur got out of that project I believe. I thought someone else bought it or something. I'll have to try to find that thread.

Maybe you could see if you can find a Evo VII GTA transmission, or the Evo IX Wagon auto. Both are JDM-only variants, but you could get lucky.

The issue is that those are rare and can't hold much power. Even if you can find one.

Local guy near Charlotte picked it up. They seem to be enjoying the project.

yeah I don't think there really is a auto trans that can hold a ton of power or super reliable with some decent power. like stated earlier time for a GTR if you want to go auto.

Here is the update on the Clutchless 4-speed built by Buschur but owned by someone else currently. It is currently doin work at the track and they plan on making kits and selling them.
Also, there are plenty of other cars with autos, not sure why the GTR is the only one that is being mentioned lol

Trans brake will kill your tcase in short order. Its the same as side stepping the clutch, no preload on the drivetrain, then BAM, full power. That is no bueno, and not how you are supposed launch an Evo..

We are using foot brake only there is no way to use a trans brake on these transmissions
