Thanks alot guys, looking forward to how this is going to all come together. Going to be turning the rear brakes and new pads back their also, and pulling these coilovers off and going back to stock there also. Ill update with pics when any progress is made.

Swapped the coilovers out for the oem struts but forgot to take pictures. It doesnt have the super tight feel anymore (obviously) but rides super smooth now. I did, however, get a chance to slap some 3m satin vinyl film on the hood to cover up some of the shame. My friend needed me to help him wrap his challenger hood and had enough extra that he kindly donated to the cause.

I can see the electric blue color in the engine bay. To me it was the most beautiful color for the Evo IX. Painting over it was downright criminal. I would have gotten that color if any had been available new early 2007, but only TB was available near my area. I finally got a blue DD car a couple weeks ago: an RWD manual Estoril Blue 340i M package+track package. My Evo is turning into a garage queen . Anyway - congrats on the project. Looks like you will do good things with your rescue Evo.

Thanks alot guys! Im holding back just ordering a truck load of parts right off the bat in order to make the paint a reality. The paint job is scheduled for the 3rd week of April as long as everything goes as planned.
For the coilovers, I want to list them for sale but have no idea what kind of price I can expect to get out of them. They appear to be in decent shape minus the pillow ball mounts in the front which need to be replaced. I also have the stock aluminum hood i want to list for sale to recoup some of the cost of the paint job, it has minor corner damage that was cause by ups when delivered to the previous owner (at least that was his story). What kind of price would this bring?

I know this is a repost but:

I have been tinkering with the Evo a little bit and finally got the chance to work on it for a while last night. In short:
- 3M wrapped fenders and part of front bumper (ran out of time for the rest)
- Restored the Headlights
- Bought a front lip and installed it
- Bought OEM Fender splash shields (still have yet to install)
I want to wrap the whole thing so bad just because of the uneven look but since its getting painted it would be dumb if I spent the money on the wrap material. I'm also straightening the front mesh parts up too so those are currently off the vehicle still. Anyway, here are some more pictures
