Yeah I totally do! I just want to be able to go wingless for a few months etc. Defintly not getting rid of the oem trunk and wing. I decided against taking off the wing from the trunk and just getting an extra trunk lol

Until it snaps in half. I'll still never understand why Mitsubishi made the IX wings hollow. Besides saving money, I suppose.

I think the do-luck "duck bill" style trunks look good on the 8/9
Seibon makes a copy (much cheaper than do-luck)

So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the maroon lancer trunk. They wanted 125$ I picked it up for 100$ the damage isn't as bad as I thought.

Also got a quote for the dent fix and repaint. it was only 563$ and some change. So around 670$ for the whole deal.

I will get pics of the trunk shortly.

Is the Lancer trunk heavier than RS?

I'm only going to assume its the same weight. Without the wing its probably lighter.
