I have the factory mr gauges in my car and the boost gauge doesn't return to zero when the car is off. Is there a way to set it to zero? Thanks

3 things come to mind

Wonder if a leaking hose to the gauge would cause that?

Or the gauge spring is out of time & does not read right?

Is the gauge reading full boost correctly?

You can always open the gauge and move the pointer ... depending on the pointer you may beed a new one, which is the potential problem.

Then you need to check it against an accurate gauge afterwards

Most likely the gauge is not reading correctly, MinusPrevious has the correct conclusion: the gauge's spring is out of time. I did have this problem with an early STI gauge ( Lamco, same brand, same gauge) so what I did was opened the gauge carefully, tried to force it to stay at zero, then put it back together. However, this is the kind of job that requires some skill level, I am not advising you to do it.

No the gauge does not read full boost or vacuum correctly. I have an aftermarket gauge on my steering column, that is correct. I just didn't want to remove the stock one and leave an empty hole. Even when the gauge is removed and inplugged, still reads as in picture. Just a little OCD in me that would like it to read 0 when off.
