Evo inspection condition, what do you think?

Hey all, I'm new to this forum (hi!)

I'm looking to purchase my first Evo 8 MR and just wanted to ask you opinions about the condition of the MR i'm looking at. I've attached a couple photos of the undercar, I can see a few rust spots where I'm assuming the boot floor is... do you guys think this is a concern? Even for a 12 yo car?

Anything else you guys can critique on, please do

Thanks in advance!
DD.

Looks pretty good to me. looks like stock suspension & sway bar. Some surface rust but doubt its anything more than that

The axle back exhaust looks sub standard w/rust build up, but thats an easy fix

If the price is right & everything else looks proper & well maintained, lock & load & lets get to work on it

I would strongly urge you to have a P.P.I. (Pre-purchase inspection) done by a local 3rd party shop that specializes in Evo's. The inspection is usually pretty cheap, a couple hundred dollars that could save you thousands. There are so many nuance things with these cars that can cost you a lot of money in the short and long term. The evo isnt the kind of car that you want to take to your average corner mechanic either so this will also help you establish a relationship with a local evo shop.
