Diagnosis Help - 3 Wheels spinning
I was going to change my transfercase oil today. But when I propped it up on stands and turned on the ignition, I noticed that only 3 of the wheels were spinning.
Here is a video: https://*******/yPh9
The front right (passenger) side is spinning faster than the rear right side.
The front left (driver) side wasn't spinning (well, only a little).
The rear were spinning in sync.
I used my hands to spin the front right to see if it was a brake issue, but it doesn't feel like it. I also opened the throttle to see if it would start spinning, and it did. But it eventually stopped again.
When I turned the car off and spun the front two wheels with my hand: I spun driver side and observed the passenger side wheel, it seemed to spin at the same rate (1:1). But when I spun the passenger side wheel with my hand I noticed that the driver side wheel was barely moving.
I speculated that there is something wrong with the transfer case. Or is it the front LSD? Unless there is another opinion? OR is this how it's supposed to function?
