Well, if you own both I think you are the only who can say which you like most.

Personally, if I owned both I would probably lean towards the X because I'm getting old and could appreciate the extra creature comforts. But that's kinda personal to me.

You'd probably be better off selling the IX. Their value is rather great right now but I don't see it increasibg anymore at this point with all the new cars.

I don't think that's true. The IX was only sold for 1 year, technically 2. the X was sold for 8 years straight now, with inventory still on the lots. The IX is much rarer than the X is, if we're talking straight supply demand value.

Boils down to personal preference & usage.

I never realized the Lancer X was an EvO

It doesnt have the 4G63?
It has an alum block?
The turbo is mounted **** backwards?
The main rear suspension member is stamped steel?
The X drivers dont throw deuces my way?
It doesnt look like an EvO?

In any event, its gotta go

Ditch the X, if you regret it later its not like finding another will be hard. A good IX however is much harder to come by.

+1^

I see 6 evo X's here for every IX that comes by. Sell the X unless you really do like it more than the IX.

I am sure there are former supra owners kicking themselves for following similar logic. Clean IX's are only going up in value. Meanwhile there are still "new" X's sitting on dealer lots.

read through this thread and glad you made the decision to go back to a CT9A. I regretted selling my 8 after owning a X. Sold the X a month a go and now happily scouting a for a 8 or 9

I'd have to agree with you there. After driving my friends Evo X I was a bit disappointed. We had lunch together and I asked him to very honest with me if he liked the X better than his older CT9A that he traded in for it. He shook his head and said "Nope". A few months after that he sold it for an STI lol.
