Groaning Vibration from under drivers seat
Hey there so i have a strange groaning vibration at around 3000 - 4000 rpm. Seems to be coming from trans tcase area. Car has 98k miles about 350 hp act clutch and flywheel everything else in the drivetrain is stock. It only happens when trans is engaged dosent matter if its decel or accel. Its quite audible and only exists in this rev range its right around were the car starts building boost till about 4000 rpm and then it goes away. I baby the car so it never really sees this rev range for very long only during wot or downshift. Someone mentioned the u joint in the driveshaft searched this topic with minimal results. Ill have it to the dealer for the recalls but im worried is this the tcase whine everyone talks about? Its more of a groan than a whine and it lightly vibrates through the frame of the car it hasn't gotten worse or louder and its been going on now over a year about 8k miles, but it is definitely a cause for concern. It would be nice to know what i need to start saving for. Any info would be very appreciated!!

Well, certainly could be a no. of things but why dont you get the car on ramps or jacks & perform an inspection (make sure its well secured. Place a wheel/tire under the car just in case. Dont need an accident!)
Shake the driveline w/a gloved hand & see if there is any unusual movement. Inspect the U-joints along the line looking for wear
Like you noted, could be internal to the tranny or T-case
