I know it's a 2.4 and it's a 4g64 but some don't work for the Evo like. 1998 galant block won't work for the Evo. Correct me if I'm wrong

i have a block stamped 4g64 but it doesnt have the cast in pads where everyone says they tap for mivec oil.
I am curious about this is well.
will all 4g64 blocks go in an evo? im ok finding a new source of oil pressure but id hate to build this block and it not fit.
