Update 4/28/04:
The car is now in for repairs, the insurance company approved the new supplemental quote from the shop I took it to so the repair is now close to $6000-6500. Still no word back from the detective, or insurance on "getting ahold" of the guy who hit me. I may go pay him another visit one of these nights if I can find a ride, and call the cops then and there if I see his car. 2-3 weeks of repair without the car, it's going to be a LONG wait.
However when I get it back it will be almost like getting my car when it was new, they are going to re-shoot the sideskirts for me and repair the ding in my hood, also going to align the car to my own settings after I put in a set of springs too.
