Gas Tank repair
Hello EvoM members! I would like some input/advice on repairing or replacing my fuel tank. I finally got around to remove my fuel tank after I found out the previous owner broke a few studs on the fuel pump unit( Long story short he installed a "modded" walboro fuel pump, The unit was held in my one 8mm bolt and I guess he drilled and tapped where the studs used to be) It still leaks when I fill up the tank! After being quoted over $500 for new OEM tank I just don't think I could swing that at the moment, I was hoping to repair this one but I'm not even sure anymore... I was hoping someone on evom knows a shop that could properly repair this!i realize that every stud and bolt is rusted. Please take a look at the picture!
(Btw: I've garaged this car for the past 4 years, the previous owner lived in a condo in NY, so it's lived outside!)
Thanks in advance.
