Certificate of Conformity (CoC)
Hello guys,
i dropped by the Norwegian car authorities today and they were not pleased with my paperwork.
even with a UK registration and MOT test done and ready,
they wanted more technical specs.
So i am guessing they are looking for COC certificate.
Does anyone have any experiences with getting those?
eurococ.eu hops up in every search,
but are they trustworthy?
I drive a stock -03 evo 8 GSR, just for info.

Hi Guys,
I have the exact same issue with my Evo MR from the UK... To the point that I am thinking of not importing the car or having to sell to buy something with the CoC.... But I would hate that
Any solutions?
Thanks,
Socrates

I'll just bump this thread with a general update, if any Norwegians are reading in here.
Turned out to be a success story for my part.
Been a while since I first started this thread,
But bringing in a euro registered JDM Evo without a CoC document or a German TÜV test might seem to be a bit.. daft. Norway is very strict on what we are allowed to import without the correct documents. Worth mentioning, a JDM with no previous registration within the EU is impossible.
However,
After a bit of work and communication with Mitsubishi Norway, they managed to help with documents i needed for the car, hence getting it approved by the authorities.
It is now on Norwegian plates, fully registered.
I am now a happy man driving around in my completely stock JDM evo.
I hope Socrates get his Evo sorted, we have spoken quite a bit and i am looking forward to the progress. However with mine approved and registered, it is definately good chances.
