how to pry the center ring off the evo 9 steering wheel?

if its the plastic one externally. It literally just prys off, its little plastic notches that hold it on, Ill see if i have pics

Mine has a bunch of small pieces of double sided tape, ignore that.

try pull it using a small flat screwdriver.. it just pulls off
