question about cooling
Does anyone sell extra fan kits or something so the engine stays cooler in the summer? Engine oil coolers stuff like that for the evo? I was just wondering if there was anything out there to help.
thanks

Do you mean like MR Evo's oil cooler that has 2 extra rows? THe stock cooling system is fine for a stock car, especially in NJ. Here in TX they survived fine in last years 110'F summer.

Yes I do eman something like that. Just wondering because of the 3" dp being so close and all, I was wondering if we can take extra measures to cool the car off in the summer?

Here in the tropics we see oil temps surpassing 248F when the car's driven on track aggressively. I suppose you can try installing a Pivot water spray controller and get an injector to spray on the oil cooler to see if it helps.

so the stock cooling system is plenty adequate for the really bad heat down here in the south?? I wouldn't know because I got mine back in November, so I have yet to experience the summer in the Evo.

Stock cooling is fine. Drove around here last August in 110-115 degree heat every day where it's over 100 still into October. The water temp needle didn't hardly move. Jersey weather is nothing compared to here. You lose a boatload of power though.
