Sound Deaden Evo Almost Complete

Sound Deaden Evo Almost Complete
Im almost done with sound deadening the car
made a little difference but have not done the firewall or the hood of the car
I have 2 questions for debate
1.) should I add closed cell foam on top then the mlv “mass loaded vinyl”
2.) which mlv should I use for the best effect 1lb or 2lb
Not sure how much thicker its going to be since im putting the carpet back on but I plan on gluing it to the sound deadener
i dont care about weight the car makes 676hp and did a few upgrades with weight reduction. Car should weight before the deadener about 3100lbs after ac delete, spare tire and jack, coilovers, front crash beam delete, half size radiator, etc

I would put sound deadening on the parts that vibrate. Transmission tunnel sees vibration because of the exhaust. Quarter panels see vibration because there is air between the gap and nothing absorbing the sound. The rear seats absorb sound. Are you planning on running without the rear seats?

I put this https://www.b-quiet.com/collections/.../b-quiet-vcomp on top of the B-Quiet Ultimate.
Only did the floor and traced cut and glued vcomp to the trunk carpet. It did make a noticeable drop in cabin noise but not huge. I also did not do as much as you did.
I plan on doing the Roof and Doors later.

but im going with a the noico layer following by a 2lb layer of mlv that is about a 1/4 inch thick.
so it will work with the flooring and possibly the roof but the rear seat might be tricky since I need to possibly remove some foam for it to work
