ProblemWhat’s up I haven’t posted in a long time but I am having issues with my ignition I have to shake it to start jiggle the key does anyone know what it is or who I can go to to fix it

I had to replace the ignition switch in my car two summers ago. I got a replacement from advance auto and no problems since. BTW, the key and the switch are separate items.

 

Do you think you can help install. Or you know of a mechanic

 

This should give you an idea of how it is done - pretty simple. I don't remember removing the lower dash panel or touching anything on the key side of the column. I guess it depends on you skills and tools. Disconnecting the battery before starting is important.
