Sitting too high??

Hello all I bought my 2005 Evo MR I think 2 months ago now and overall love the car and honestly love the stock seats. My only issue is I feel like the seating position is very tall. I’m 5’8 so I’m not the tallest person around. I have an S2000 as well and that seat practically sits on the floor and I love it. Is there a way to lower my seating position without replacing the stock seats?

I know they use to sell seat lowering brackets but that was years ago not sure if they still do or not. Buschur I believed sold them. I am sure if you searched online you would find them

You can likely still get them from Binary here: https://www.binaryeng.com/products/e...ering-brackets

or Ebay has them as well, cheaper than Binary (been on the Binary ones for many years)

I have the ebay ones work great make the seating feel way better. They make you sit in the seat instead of on top of it if you know what i mean.

I'm 5'8 as well and I am loving the lower brackets. I bought my current Evo VIII from a friend that had installed these and I feel like it makes shifting a little more easier/natural.

+1 i have the binary set on drivers side, night and day difference. My line of sight went from looking through the top of windshield to the center.
