As title may suggest my ac comp has taken a dump on me and i need a new ac comp. ive looked at oem new prices and my wallet nearly cried the other day. i looked on ebay for used ones that were salvaged and was still questioning how some could be 200-300 bucks.
does anyone know if i can say use a lancer 2005 ac comp for the evo or something or maybe even the rally art variant. or if theres any other ac comps that will work for this car?

I installed 2 aftermarket AC compressors this summer. one was $100 so i just wanted to try it out. it worked but the clutch was too noisy. then I bought this ($190)

this was perfect and efficient and the clutch was quiet. came with oil but didnt come with o-rings

Sweet thank you for testing it, is it still going strong? and did you replace or flush the full system with ac condenser and lines?

yeah its still cold. its only been a month tho. I just replaced the compressor, my original one had a bad clutch and wont engage even after the tricks I read on these forums. the clutch is over $100 if you can even find it
