I am looking at adding a IX back to my collection but many on the used car market need some love. Are there any good shops that I could hand an older Evo to and have them go through and repair/fix/upgrade more or less everything?

My thinking here is buying a 2006 that is in average condition and handing it straight to a shop for $20k - $30k of work and shooting for < 450AWHP.

Has anyone done this?

If you're in AZ or close to it, Moon performance is the go to. I cannot recommend him enough, he will take care of you. Been a customer for 8+ years.

My engine is at moonperformance here in AZ. I chose them over UMS for personal reasons and having a good relationship with the owner. He is very methodical and does work thoroughly.

English racing is a top pick tho since they have everything on site. From machining to tuning.
