HID OR Zeon headlights

GPTourer is right. Now the kit that i bought came with no name bulbs (9006) with Phillips ballists. all you do to instal them is plug the wire into where your regular bulb would go and then put the new bulb in the housing. these kits are universal and you do not need to buy a new housing or anything additional. now the bulbs i had are the 6000k blue ones. and let me tell you they were blue, picture what the Audi HID's look like but with 2x more blue. although the visibility with these blue bulbs sucked. i dont know how the purple ones are but my guess is that they would be worse. but the kit i posted before is a high quality kit, its from Hella.

Hmmm.
Skorn,
So you actually bought an inexpensive HID kit and it was junk too? What brand was it? I wish someone would do an actual test of these systems before I waste any money on one. I'd hate to drop five or six bills and have less light then stock and the cops all over me.

i dont remember the actual name of the kit but like i said before the ballists where phillips. as for the bulbs i can check later but they were no name cool blue or something along those lines. anyway the visibility was there but because of the color it made things harder to see. seeing things close were perpectly clear, i could even see my lights on during the day on the pavement. but for distances they didnt do well, and that is understandable considering they are only low beams.
now when i bought my kit i didnt opt for the blue bulbs, the guy actually ran out of the phillips white bulbs and my options were to either wait 2 months for the new ones to come in or just get the blue ones.
